A tintype is when a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer of enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion. The steps I took though was asking for a picture first, then I edited it and made it look like a tintype by putting a border around it and having the layout of looking yellowish/old. I edited the photo with Pixlr.
